She’s author of That Should Be a Word: A Much-Needed Lexicon for the Modern Era, and Shelf Discovery: The Teen Classics We Never Stop reading, as well as the founding editor of Lizzie Skurnick Books, which reissues YA classics. A frequent contributor to The New York Times, NPR, Elle, Jezebel, and many other publications, she lives in Jersey City and teaches at NYU.
